How EconDash collects, uses, and protects your personal data
Privacy Policy

EconDash ("we", "our", or "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that data.
1. What data we collect
Account data. When you sign in via Dynamic.xyz, we receive and store:
- Your email address
- Your wallet address(es) (EVM and/or Solana)
- A unique user identifier assigned by Dynamic
Locale and theme preferences. Your language choice and dark/light theme preference are saved in your browser's localStorage. This data never leaves your device.
Payment data. When you pay via NOWPayments for a subscription or API access:
- Payment amount, currency, and transaction hash
- Invoice ID and payment status
- We do not store full card numbers, bank details, or private keys
API usage data. When you use our API with an API key:
- Request counts for rate limiting and quota tracking
- Endpoint accessed and timestamp
Support communications. If you contact us at support@econdash.org, we keep the email thread to assist you.
2. How we use your data
- Authentication — to verify your identity and grant access to your dashboard and account
- Billing — to process crypto payments, manage subscriptions, and track invoice statuses
- API access — to enforce rate limits and quotas tied to your subscription tier
- Support — to respond to your questions and resolve issues
- Critical updates — to notify you of material changes to our terms, security incidents, or account-related matters
3. Third-party services
We rely on the following third-party providers. Each processes data according to its own privacy policy:

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
4. Data security
- All authentication uses JWT tokens verified server-side
- All payment webhooks are signature-verified (NOWPayments IPN)
- API communication is encrypted via HTTPS/TLS
- API keys are stored hashed — we cannot recover your key after generation
5. Cookies and local storage
We use only strictly necessary cookies and storage:
- Dynamic session cookie — required for authentication (set by Dynamic.xyz)
- localStorage — stores your language and theme preferences on your device
We do not use tracking cookies, analytics cookies, advertising cookies, or any form of user-behavior tracking.
6. Data retention
- Account data — retained while your account is active
- Payment records — retained as required by applicable law (typically 5–7 years for financial records)
- API usage logs — retained for 12 months for billing and abuse prevention
- Support emails — retained for up to 2 years
You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time (see section 7).
7. Your rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate or incomplete data
- Delete your account and personal data
- Export your data in a machine-readable format
- Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent

8. Children's privacy
EconDash is not intended for individuals under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email and noted on this page with an updated effective date.
