Open Knowledge Format v0.1 — machine-readable catalog for AI agents
EconDash publishes its catalog as an Open Knowledge Format bundle — a set of plain Markdown documents that AI agents can read to discover what economic data exists, how it is structured, and how to access it. The entry point is /okf/index.md.
Metadata-only by design. This bundle contains indicator descriptions, coverage ranges, observation counts, units and sources — but no raw time-series values. Full numeric data is available via EconDash Pro subscription or per-query AI-agent payment (x402 / MPP).
753 macroeconomic indicators with coverage, units, frequency and sources — metadata only, no raw values.
Editorial explainers connecting indicators to the forces that move them (monetary policy, USD dominance, energy transition).
41 upstream providers (World Bank, FRED, OECD, IMF, Eurostat, ECB and more) mapped to the indicators they feed.
Regenerated weekly from the live database. Bundle root: https://econdash.org/okf/index.md
